From 9 to 11 October, representatives of the Latvian ports, transport and logistics industry participated in the international exhibition Translogistica Kazakhstan 2024 in Astana. Latvia was represented by more than 40 participants, including the Freeport Authorities of Riga and Ventspils and the Liepaja SEZ Authority together with port companies, as well as VAS "Latvijas Dzelzceļš" and other industry companies, which gathered at the VIALATVIA stand as a meeting point with their business partners.

During the exhibition, the stand was the venue for lively discussions on new challenges and future cooperation opportunities with Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of Latvia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Irīna Mangule, also expressed her support for the transport and logistics sector at the VIA Latvia stand.

This year, the international transport and logistics exhibition "Translogistica Kazakhstan 2024" was held for the 27th time and it brought together the countries of the region, as well as the countries of the immediate neighbourhood and the European Union, including Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria. Representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, India and other countries also offered transport and logistics services, with a total of more than 200 information stands.
